Posting Something Irrelevant and Silly on Behalf of Your Company

If you‘re in charge of the company’s social media, make sure you cross check before  posting something. Furthermore, if you have to tweet on behalf of your higher ups or the company itself, make sure  your manager  is aware of it before releasing any post.

Posting During Working Hours 

While it’s a proven fact that social media lessen ones productivity, it also reflects poorly on ones professional appearance.  Managers and other employers are more likely to be judgmental whether you are up to date with work or not. Moreover, fellow coworkers passing by may also have the upper hand by snitching directly to your boss if you are caught red handed.
