Mathematicians have a plethora of employment opportunities. They can opt to work in field ranging from engineering to medicine to other science fields which requires the proficiency of these individuals to solve complex mathematical equations on a daily basis.

Mathematicians either work alone or with a group of peers, this gives them some autonomy over their work and almost completely dissociates them from the stress of working under an obnoxious boss. Higher job security and the typical 40-hour work week that promotes work-life balance are other contributing factors which make this profession a relatively stress-free job to be associated with.

Mathematicians draw a hefty pay that is roughly in the range of 3.29 lakhs to 22.38 lakhs per annum.
