The job role of mobile developer is to create and develop complex algorithms and programming code for software solutions. Applications developers work in multiple business industries, usually as part of an organization's information technology department. They develop the code to satisfy a client's specifications through technologically enabled means.

Mobile developers require in-depth understanding of the software development life cycle, are fluent in multiple programming languages and are expert users of application development tools such as C#, ClearCase, JAVA, J2EE, Visual Basic, WebSphere, WebLogic, and more.
