The job responsibilities as an activities instructor include leading people on activity or adventure trips such as trekking, canoeing, climbing, and abseiling, which could be part of a course for youth, probation services or corporate team-building exercise.

As an activity instructor you must be capable of getting on with all kinds of people, remain calm under pressure, plus have a good understanding of safety and risk management.
