BENGALURU: The report of ‘Job Switching @ Startup’ survey by the Economic Times is out and the outcome is quite contrasting to the pretty scene of startup sector.

What actually came out is a good portion of startup employees are willing to quit their job in order to get hired by a top notch company. Is glamour and fame the soul reason for their tilt towards established organizations?

88pct respondents out of a total of 750 are all set to quit their startup job, in order to get recruited by a high end firm. They were very ready for this and had no look back or distress upon the decision.

While 80percent of female employees were willing to change the industry, 90percent of men said a no.

Better Salary

Startups are indeed known for the big sum of money they pay to their employees. Yet if compared to the perks an official gets in an organization, the former may look much minute. Therefore, with the hope of good remuneration along with perks for a better life, 43percent of the surveyed people wanted to quit their present job. 70percent junior-level employees and 68percent senior-level employees cited money as the only criterion to change their present profession.
