An American chemical engineer and CEO of Theranos, a health technology and medical laboratory service company. Elizabeth Holmes holds 50 percent stake in this company, which is valued at $ 9 billion. Prior to this she dropped from the Stanford in 2003 and founded this company from the money saved by her parents for her education. Fortune smiled on her this year and Elizabeth Holmes is included in this list for the achievement her company brought in 2014.
Jan Koum, Founder Whatsapp
Jan Koum is the Co-founder of WhatApp, a mobile messaging application which was acquired by Facebook Inc in February 2014 for $ 19 billion. Jan Koum an American computer engineer entered the Forbes list of the 400 richest Americans at position 62, with an estimated worth of more than seven and half billion dollars.
Jan koum is also a great example of struggle and triumph because of the problems he faced during his teenage years. Jan koum once applied for a job at Facebook and was rejected.
Mia Love, Member – Elect, U.S. House Of Representative
Mia Love is a Haitian-American politician and the U.S. Representative-elect for Utah's fourth congressional district. Previously, she was Mayor of Saratoga Springs, Utah.  Mia Love is the first Haitian American and the first black female Republican in Congress.
She is a fine arts graduate from University of Hartford. Mia Love used to work as flight attendant before she decided to run for the Mayor election in 2009. She is included in the list because of her struggling life and making history by her consistency.
Corey Kluber, Pitcher, Cleveland Indians 
Corey Scott Kluber, an American professional baseball pitcher for the Cleveland Indians of Major League Baseball. He made his MLB debut in 2011but prior to that Corey used to play for San Diego Padres and Indians. This year was a game changer for Corey as he becomes the best pitcher from merely a replacement level player and also to have won CY Young award.
