There are things that are equally, actually more challenging and perhaps difficult to get in, ranging from admission in prep schools to landing a job in global investment banking, securities and investment management firm.

A Wal-Mart Job
The year 2013 ushered the Wal-Mart to Washington DC amidst delight and disapproval. 23,000 applicants registered while only 600 could get through. This implied a 2.6 percent rate of acceptance which is almost the double the rate at Harvard. What’s more surprising is the overtly selective Wal-Mart pays only $8.48 an hour in comparison to a six figure hefty paycheck of a Harvard graduate.
