Kaplan is one of the oldest for-profit universities headquartered in Fort Lauderdale that was founded in 1938 by Stanley Kaplan. And ever since its existence it has been defrauding its students.
The institute that provides higher education programs, professional training courses, test preparation materials and other services was involved in a lawsuit in 2007 that accused them of a variety of corrupt activities, and the university ended up paying $30 million to fix the lawsuit. The university that charges whooping $70,000 for a Bachelor of Science programs, additionally operates a Concord Law School, which is unaccredited by the American Bar Association.
