BANGALORE: When times get tough, job hunters face increasing pressure to find a job. Many people think lying on their resumes improves their chances, but a recent CareerBuilder survey found that 58 percent of hiring managers have found a lie on a candidate's resume. Besides the ‘standard’ lies like fudging dates of employment, adding few illegal degrees, the survey also found some truly laughable whoppers that stuck with them over time. Well, it just can’t get dumber than this. A job seeking candidate thought he’s too smart to be caught and lied to the employer by putting the same name as his father’s on his resume along with the experience that his father has gained.
