TCS Unveils New Brazil Delivery Center, Creating 1,600 Jobs

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has unveiled plans to establish a new delivery center in Brazil, set to generate over 1,600 employment opportunities within the next five years. Located in Londrina, Parana, this initiative not only promises to bolster the local economy but also underscores TCS's commitment to expanding its footprint in the region.

Bruno Rocha, TCS Brazil's Country Head, expressed the company's ambition to augment its workforce, particularly in fields like cybersecurity, cloud computing, cognitive business operations (CBO), IT infrastructure services (ITIS), artificial intelligence (AI), and automation. This expansion aligns with TCS's ethos of fostering innovation and delivering top-notch technology services.

Having established a presence in Londrina since 2018, TCS currently employs approximately 1,700 individuals in the city. The new delivery center will focus on pivotal domains such as business transformation, artificial intelligence, and cognitive business operations, offering a comprehensive suite of IT solutions to both Brazilian and global clients.

Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior, the Governor of Parana, highlighted the significance of leveraging India's expertise in digital technologies to further enhance Brazil's digitization efforts. His visit to India aimed to explore collaboration opportunities, drawing upon India's global leadership in digital innovation.

TCS's longstanding presence in Brazil, spanning over two decades, encompasses operations in key cities like Londrina, Sao Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro. This latest endeavor signifies TCS's enduring commitment to fostering technological advancement and driving economic growth in Brazil and beyond.
