In a significant move to enhance employment opportunities for job seekers, the Ministry of Labour and Employment signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FoundIt (formerly Monster). The agreement is expected to generate over 10 lakh domestic job openings annually on the National Career Service (NCS) portal.

The MoU, signed in the presence of Union Minister of Labour and Employment Mansukh Mandaviya, aims to broaden job prospects for registered users, including opportunities in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Mandaviya urged young job seekers to register on the NCS platform to access diverse career openings.

"The NCS Portal has emerged as a crucial gateway connecting millions of job seekers with employers both in India and abroad. With 3,000 to 4,000 job postings added daily, this MoU will contribute 1.25 lakh international vacancies and over 10 lakh domestic job openings each year, significantly improving employment prospects for Indian youth", Mandaviya stated.

The NCS platform is integrated with ‘My Bharat, SIDH’ to bridge the skill gap and enhance employability. Additionally, the portal has over 40 lakh registered employers and has facilitated the mobilization of 4.4 crore vacancies since its inception. At any given time, approximately 10 lakh job vacancies are available.

Mandaviya further added that NCS Portal integrates with the e-Migrate platform, which has brought on board more than 500 active Recruitment Agencies (RAs) registered with the Ministry of External Affairs. This is an effort through which Indian professionals can get verified employment opportunities abroad.

Through this partnership, NCS Portal continues to play its role as an all-inclusive employment generation portal, providing steady streams of opportunities for India's workforce.
