Bangalore: The primary focus of the organizations for coming years would be 'Retention' as part of retention strategies. Human Capital Management and Employee Engagement have been assigned new levels of importance, as a 'Talent First' culture model: Take care of your employees, eliminate 'HR silos' and begin to structure organizational planning and hiring objectives around proper analyses of talent throughout the company, these fact were released on the basis of a study done by Aberdeen Group, a business research and analysis company.

Aberdeen also found that 'Best-in-Class organizations are deploying integrated talent management technology that encompasses recruitment, on-boarding, performance, succession, compensation, learning and development' to create this "talent first" culture. However, 53 percent of organizations surveyed admit they cannot commit necessary time to strategic initiatives because of an overload of "tactical administrative tasks".
Human resources in the past have always been viewed as a supporting department instead of a collective business counterpart to organizational managers that can provide a measurable ROI. Some of the major tasks of HR like supporting decision-making managers and leaders within the organization are imperative. Upper management recognized that this talent will help to drive future company performance; therefore strategies within the integration started focusing on skills gaps and engagement.

Talent management provides the options of choosing the top priorities that is performance management, succession planning and talent acquisition. The human capital management and engagement level of employees are the two primary pieces that fixes the Talent Management riddle. This fact is backed by studies and reports which justifies that actual ROI by using the tools leads to achieve the business goals of the organization.
