Bangalore: Getting back to work post vacation is difficult. After parties and celebrations every day, when it's time to get back to work, employees feel that they hardly got any rest. Many employees complain that they don't feel like getting back to work again. Hence, you will also find that the amount of contribution has gone down.

Although it is not easy to prepare someone mentally and physically to switch on to work mode, here's one solution. An article on firstreference.com speaks about the ways by which your employees can jump back to work without feeling lazy. Some of them are listed below-

1. Practice getting up earlier a day before- It's impossible to wake up everyone on the 'work' day but yes, you can advice your employees to set their alarm clock one day before your work starts. This can atleast help their internal clock get back to track.

2. Plan office functions- Aligning the mind back to normal routine will be hard, especially when your employees know that nothing exciting is coming up. So as an HR, you can organize a small get together, potluck lunch, Employee Appreciation etc. In this way, employees will have something to look forward to and it will keep them going.

3. Make them feel relaxed- This will keep your employees motivated at work when they know that they don't have heavy work load over the week just after joining back. If your employees could take out some time to relax between work, then hopefully the next week will turn out to be refreshing and productive.

4. Try to stay positive- This is one of the most important tips, which is applicable everywhere. Ask your employees to stay happy and positive; this will not only keep their minds calm, but also help them get rid of the holiday blues very soon.

All the above points may seem very simple and small but you need to keep in mind that little things can also bring a huge change to the work environment.
