Bangalore: With the introduction of new technologies in human management social media and mobile platforms has become the latest trend for the HR's to attract applicant through corporate branding because of the continued jobless recovery and emerging employers in the workforce. The competition is building high due to which the companies are shifting their interests towards the online assessment because they are less costly and time consuming according to the survey done by SIS International Research.

Social media and mobile platforms are gaining interests among the larger applicant pool too and also in the administer applicant assessment. Companies are using data mining tools and analysis to improve the predictions that are important prospects for an applicant to succeed in any new company.

Many of the large companies are recruiting through conducting assessments when compared to the small and medium size companies who focus on candidate's quality and cultural matches. But most of the time their main target is on the volume of recruits rather than the objective determinations. Companies are increasingly requesting applicant assessments to deliver a verifiable ROI.

The refining of assessments tools should be used for more predictive job performance. Therefore companies should develop and use the technology in the field of HR to create a win-win situation for both applicants and the firm.
