Yes Bank's Delivery Centre to Create 12,000 Jobs

BENGALURU: Yes Bank is all set to start its largest operations management and financial services delivery in centre at Chennai. This unveils employment opportunity for 12000 in the finance and tech sector. This has been revealed by Yes Bank MD and CEO said at the inaugural function of the Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet, as Economic Times reports.

Initially the company will start its largest centre at a business park owned by IndiaBulls in Ambattur with a total area of 4 lakh sq. ft of space. It is in plan to later expand to 9 lakh sq. ft.

The office will be having fitness centres, indoor sports areas other than usual work space. An eatery called Yes Café will also be a part of this office.

Rana Kapoor, MD & CEO of Yes Bank said, "Yes Bank is leasing this space for 15 years at highly competitive rates befitting an anchor tenant, with the building fully dedicated to Yes Bank and will be named as Yes Bank Centre." 

The business from this Chennai outlet is expected to operate by the first quarter of 2016-17. This will open wide employment opportunities in Chennai. The bank hosts its operations management and technology services at Mumbai and Delhi offices respectively.

The Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet was originally scheduled in October 2014. After a three time postpone it’s finally being held now in September 2015. This aims to boost Rs 1 lakh crore of investments to the state.
