Goa is considered to be the smallest State in India and the fourth smallest in terms of population. The State is located towards the Western part of India, bordered by Arabian Sea towards its West, the state of Maharashtra to the north, and by Karnataka to the east and southern part of the State. The State has been considered to be the worst State to find a job out of the rest 5 States mentioned earlier because, here out of thousand people, around 179 people are unemployed.

According to the Labor and Employment Minister Avertano Furtado, said that in Goa, there are around 1, 04,789 unemployed people who are registered under state Employment Exchange. He also mentioned that the problem of unemployment in the State is being tackled among various levels. Adding, he mentioned that among all the 1, 04,789 people, it was figured out that 58,226 people out of that number were men and the rest 46,563 were women.
