Maria das Graças Silva Foster is the first female CEO of the Brazilian energy corporation, Petrobas. Not only for Petrobas, she is the first women to lead major oil and gas company. Founded in 1953, this semi-public multinational energy corporation headquartered at Rio de Janeiro. According to the 2011 report, Petrobas is the largest firm in Latin America by revenue. Considering the market capitalization, it is the major firm in the Southern Hemisphere. Almost 54 percent of the share is owned by the Brazilian government.  In her lead, the company is to pay out over $225 billion to unbolt oil off the Brazilian coast over next decades.
