Why Women in Their 30s Experience Burnout?

Bangalore: Women in their 30’s tend to be tired of demands of a career, motherhood and other domestic affairs reveals a study conducted by the Top Sante Magazine. The study unwrapped the fact that these women opined this to be their “hardest decade”, with many accepting the fact that they are feeling stressed, missing sleep and skipping meals.

According to the study, the pressure on these women is putting their health at risk. The study also highlighted the fact that those who have delayed motherhood in their 40’s have to deal with young children, which is also quite bad for their health.

Among those surveyed, about 85 percent of the women claimed they "frequently feel tired" and 59 percent "feel tired all the time". Only 25 percent regularly can manage to  get seven or eight hours sleep a night, while 75 percent were "lucky if they get six hours" of sleep. Forty percent usually slept less than six hours a night. At the same time the vast majorities in their 30s and 40s are stressed out and have to snack their way through the day because they do not have time to take their meal properly.

Editor of Top Sante Magazine, Marina Crook said: "When 30-something women say they are 'tired and stressed out of their minds', they probably are. Tiredness and stress are the ailments of our age and combined with a poor diet they cause low immunity and ill health.”
