New Delhi: Vdopia, an online and mobile video monetization player has announced the appointment of Debadutta Upadhyaya to the role of Vice President, India. She would be reporting to Saurabh Bhatia, Chief Business Officer and Co-founder, Vdopia. "I am really excited about this opportunity. My role would be to assist company scale up its operations and drive this leadership position to the next level," said Debadutta. Before joining Vdopia, Debadutta was the Head of Sales Strategy at Yahoo! India. She spent almost six years with Yahoo! India and grew from her role as an Account Manager in 2004 to National Sales Head in 2008. Her last assignment at Yahoo! India was as Head of Sales Strategy. Prior to Yahoo!, she was with Times Group for nearly eight years. Debadutta is a gold medalist in Literature, Journalism and Mass Communication. During her previous stints, Debadutta played a pivotal role in displacing the reigning leader to garner the No 1 position for Yahoo! India in the display space; and on-boarding many non-medium spenders like Coke to the print medium. "We are delighted to have Debadutta joining our senior management team.
