You have to choose your battles to deal with this kind of a boss. Though the probability of your victory in the battle is very minimal, never take it granted. Develop your case and argue with your boss, while making sure that he still feels that he is in control. Reaching a middle ground is the key when it comes to dealing with a nitpicker.

The Pushover

Having a pushover as a boss is both a boon and a bane. Thought you might get away with anything since he/she doesn’t want to cause any problem, chances are that your boss isn’t going to help you to climb the career ladder.

If this is your boss, be honest, don’t take advantage and motivate yourself to work hard for the betterment of your future.
