TripAdvisor Appoints New Territory Manager for India

New Delhi:  TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site, announced the latest addition to the TripAdvisor for Business division, with the appointment of Deepesh Saxena as the Territory Manager, Business Listings for India. In this role, Saxena will oversee the India region of TripAdvisor for Business, including TripAdvisor Business Listings.

 “We’re delighted to welcome Deepesh to the team, an entrepreneur with fourteen years of experience having held senior sales and leadership positions in India,” said Lewis Ng, Commercial Director, APAC, TripAdvisor for Business. “Deepesh is well known in the Indian hotel industry and his experience and insights will be instrumental in developing a successful strategy for the India region.”

 Saxena will be joining the growing global TripAdvisor for Business team, a dedicated division that provides the tourism industry access to TripAdvisor’s millions of monthly visitors through its Business Listings offer. At TripAdvisor, Deepesh will be responsible for building brand awareness and engaging hoteliers throughout the region to maximise their potential through a better understanding of the TripAdvisor product.

 Saxena comes to TripAdvisor from Yatra.com where he was National Head of Sales, heading up Hotel Sales and Contracting. His experience is primarily in negotiating and contracting having worked as isango!, WNS Global, IGTS and ebookers, amongst others, prior to joining the TripAdvisor for Business team. Saxena holds an e-MBA from XLRI, in Jamshedpur.
