#5. Pharmacy Technician

Do you aspire to help people stay healthy and take pleasure in interacting with people? If your answer is a ‘yes’, a career as a pharmacy technician could be tailor-made for you.

As a pharmacy technician you will have to work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist or other healthcare provider, and your job duties will mainly revolve around preparing and dispensing pharmaceutical drugs. 

The flexibility, plus the fact that there is no age limit and an individual can be employed in this line of work as long as he/she wants, makes it an easy pill to swallow for a retiree.  

There is no specific training or educational requirement to get started in this line of work. Most employers prefer to hire candidates with some formal education and train them on the job for a few months. However, possession of some kind formal training or a certificate could enhance your chances of landing a job in this field by manifolds.
