2. Indira Nooyi:
Indira Nooyi is an Indian American business executive and she is currently serving as the Chairman and the CEO of PepsiCo, which is the second largest food and beverage business in the world. She had joined PepsiCo in the year 1994. It has been reported that in the Forbes list of ‘World’s 100 most powerful women’ she has been consistently ranked in the list. She began her career in India and held the product manager designation at the Johnson and Johnson firm and also she held the same post in the textile firm Mettur Beardsell. She got a seat at the prestigious Yale School of Management in the year 1978 and she earned a Master’s Degree in Public and Private Management. After completing her graduation in 1980, she joined Boston Consulting Group and later she held the strategy positions at Asea Brown Boveri and Motorola. In the year 2009, she was also considered as one of the top gun CEOs by the Brendan Wood International.
3. Swathi Piramal:
Dr. Swathi Piramal is the Vice Chairperson of the Piramal Life Sciences and she is also the director of Piramal healthcare. Swathi has a medical degree from the Bombay University and she has a degree in industrial medicine and also a master’s degree in public health from University of Harvard. For around eight times she has been nominated as one among the most powerful business women in India. She has the credit of being the first woman in 90 years to head the Apex Chamber of Commerce ASSOCHAM in the year 2009-10. She has been contributing towards the innovations in public health services and in other major projects. She has been honoured with Padmashri award which is one of the highest civilian honors’ in India.
