# Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia recorded for a big 50 percent rise, with the number of its students going up from 22,704 in 2010-2011 to 34,139 in 2011-2012. According to the SUSRIS, the recent scholarship program has enabled over 145,000 young Saudi Arabians to travel overseas for higher education opportunities and experiences.
The majority of those students have chosen the United States as the destination for their undergraduate and graduate programs.

Taiwan sent nearly 23,250 students to America for 2011-12, which is actually a decrease from the year before. According to the Christian science Monitor, the amount has been declining since 1994, when nearly 38,000 students travelled to the U.S. About 55 percent of Taiwanese students in the U.S. are at the graduate level, and almost 25 percent are undergraduate students.

The 2009-10 numbers in sending students were good. Slightly more Canadian students come to the US for undergraduate degrees than graduate degrees.
