According to THE ECONOMIC TIMES the survey of HR Game Changers gives an accurate picture of the HR landscape of India and the survey results clearly manifest the necessity of HR alignment for Indian business enhancement. HR Alignment in Business for Optimal Performance
When the HR strategies, policies, practices and messages align with organizational goals and culture, then great things can happen at any time. According to the study, 40 percent of the HR leaders stated HR alignment with business as the top HR Game Changer. Alignment of personnel, process and structure were identified as the key factor for organization’s success where HR department defines itself as a critical player. The recent scenario of India’s HR infrastructure shows that the department is improving by considering them more and more as a business partner. The department plays a vital role in expanding organization’s growth so organizations cannot step out with it as they are carrying the same objective.
Managing Work Force Diversity
Organization’s success relies on the ability to manage a diverse body of talented personnel with innovative ideas, perspectives and views to their work and HR helps organization in recognizing the talent. The department leads organization to experience their anticipated success by preparing employees for high task which is strength to a company. 76 percent HR leaders in India feel that the ‘War for talent’ is getting fiercer than ever and the term accurately reflects today’s business and talent environment. 61 percent of HR leaders responded that a reputed employer brand is the top most critical factor which matters a lot while attracting top talent.
Multi-Generational Workforce Management
Workplaces always allow multiple-generations to work side by side but when the fresh-faced younger generation meets the established middle generation that holds most of the management roles or senior executives then some friction arises. The HR helps organization to fix the issues by developing each other’s communication style and cultural expectations. 70 percent of global HR leaders who participated in the survey reported that while managing the multiple-generation workforce they faced bulk of obstacles whereas 35 percent of the HR leaders surveyed in India highlighted it as the second most important HR Game Changer of 2016.
