Top 5 Sectors in India Offering Jobs to NRIs

Bangalore: India, still being a developing country has become successful in offering better employment opportunities when compared to other nations. Deepa Venkataraghavan, a Chartered Accountant and Finance Writer from the Economic Times, has reported that, almost all the surveys conducted by the recruitment consultants and headhunting firms has released surveys about hiring trends in the nation and from the recent days, the surveys also mention something new  for the NRI hiring process in the country. Some of the sectors at present are looking out more to hire talents with global experience. So, you may think, why only outsiders are looked up more by certain sectors?  

Aseem Juneja, a cross border talent expert and founder of Indbound.com, is of the opinion that, as some of the sectors require skills and experience that are not available inside India, they look up for the candidates from outside the country. So, if you are an NRI and if you think you have acquired all those skills and experiences, you can be the right person what the companies are looking for.

As these skills are much in demand in India nowadays, your salary can rise though the salaries in India tend to be around 40 to 70 percent. Kris Lakshmikanth, Founder CEO of the ‘Headhunters India” has told that the salaries in India, has all the possibilities to go up to 100 percent of the dollar salaries.

Healthcare:

There is a rapid growth in India’s healthcare sector and by this year it can be estimated to be worth of $ 40 billion. The overall healthcare spending in India accounts for over 5 percent of the country’s GDP, reports India Law Offices. When it comes to the hiring demand of NRIs towards this sector, it mainly includes biotechnology, contract research and manufacturing, clinical research and pharmaceutics etc.

 Kris Lakshmikanth added that as of now, India has turned out to be the hub for outsourcing in the healthcare sector and more number of multinational companies like Pfizer, Novartis etc has started looking at India as a skilled and cost effective hub for outsourcing certain functions. Even though, Indian employees fit for the areas like clinical research, contract researches etc, the leaders for these areas are typically those who have the global experience. He also added that candidates with doctoral qualification with research experience in the U.S. will be more eligible for this sector.
