2. You wouldn’t have mentioned any keywords on your resume:

Every resume must have some key points that can attract the interviewer. You need to mention few specific skills you are good at and which can be of good help for the position you are been offered. For that, the first thing you need to do is to have a close look on the job description they are offering you before sending a resume for that post. If the job description requires a specific type of skills, make sure you mention those skills at the top and later mention the other unique skills you have in you. If you don’t have mentioned the required key words on your resume, then your resume is lost in the middle of the large number of resumes that they have received.

3. Your resume might have not formatted well:

This can be another reason for not getting an interview call. You might have thought that your unique formatting of the resume would attract the recruiters the most. But here, what you need to know is that the automated programs will not care if the document is pretty or not. So, try to be consistent in the way you format. Make sure you mention the name of your former employer, your past job title and years you have served in the past in a separate lines for each point, so that it looks clear to the recruiter to understand.
