Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET)

Exam Time: Fourth week of March

Exam Criteria: 50pct aggregate marks in graduation from prominent colleges or institutions.

This state level MBA entrance test is conducted by Anna University as criteria to qualify and pursue management courses in the state. Commonly referred to as TANCET, in this 2-hour exam a candidate has to answer 100 MCQs based on Reading Comprehension, English Grammar & Usage, Analysis of Business Situation, Quantitative Ability and Data Sufficiency.

TISS National Entrance Test (TISSNET)

To be a part of the Masters in Social Work MBA course, a candidate needs to clear this exam conducted by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). The exam covers questions from chapters like Quant, Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning and more. The total number of available seats for the course is 220 against an average of 12000 appearing for the exam. Since 2013, the exam is conducted in computers.
