8.  Indian Institute of Craft and Design

Indian Institute of Craft and Design was set up in 2002 by the government of Rajasthan in favor of exporting traditional craft. The institute is now taken over by Ambuja Group with its faculty from NID. IICD offers training for both UG and PG students. 

9.  MIT Institute of Design

MIT that takes over an area of 125 acres is cemented on the Rajbaug farms at the banks of river Mula-Mutha in Pune. The institute is a division of the Maharashtra Academy of Engineering and Research, MAEER. Its establishment led by Prof. Kumar Vyas, founder of NID was launched in 2005.

10.  Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID)

Symbiosis Institute of Design or SID for short is a division of the popular Symbiosis International University that offers own unique degrees to students. The institute is also noted to have a major collaboration with LaSalle Coll. of Arts, Singapore.
