TCS Selects Over 300 Students At Agra Campus

AGRA:India's top software exports company, Tata Consultancy Services picked up more than 300 students during a three-day campus placement camp held at the Hindustan College of Science and Technology (HCST) here.
Setting a new record, half a dozen colleges had participated in this TCS campus recruitment drive in which a total 307 students were selected and given offer letters by TCS. Of these, 250 offer letters were bagged by students of The Sharda Group. The other 57 offers were grabbed by students of Dayalbagh University, Agra and BIET, Jhansi. These students have been offered a handsome annual package of Rs 3.20 lakh.
Against last year's 88, this year's hike in the number of students selected is seen as a qualitative improvement in the academic standards of these institutions.
