Sustaining Women on the Job in India

These are the few exceptions, but what our country fails to understand is the importance of a female employee in the company. Unlike Indian companies, the western companies take all kind of steps to sustain the female labor within the company. They extend all kind of facilities to grab their valuable female employee, so that they remain glued up with the company for a long time. Therefore, companies like Google have cabs on call facilities for women employees, who have to rush home from work for family emergencies. The German company Boehringer Ingelheim pays for an employee to bring her parents along on longer trip, as they know that some families object young women travelling all alone.

Companies like E & Y put all kinds of effort for family members to understand that how much they value their daughters work; therefore, in order to keep the employee as well as their family members happy, they regularly sponsor family visits in the company.
