Sunil Singh to lead GlobalLogic's APAC/India operations

New Delhi: Software R&D services provider GlobalLogic, has appointed Sunil Singh as Chief of Asia Pacific and Managing Director of India. Presently, based in Silicon Valley, Singh will relocate to New Delhi to manage GlobalLogic's Indian operations and market development, as well as guide the company's overall business strategy in the Asia Pacific region. "As Silicon Valley East, India plays a key role in our overall global strategy," said Peter Harrison, CEO, GlobalLogic. "Sunil's extensive knowledge of product development and background in strategy and operations make him perfectly suited to lead our activities in this region. We are delighted to have him on board." Prior to joining GlobalLogic, Singh served as CEO of Informance International, where he built and led an enterprise software sales force, introduced a SaaS product, and acquired marquee customers in the CPG, pharmaceutical and manufacturing verticals. His career includes executive and senior management positions at firms such as Mokume (acquired by Versant) and AppNet (acquired by CommerceOne). In addition to developing advanced technologies at Dartmouth and participating in collaborative research at MIT's Media Lab, Singh played an actively strategic role in a bevy of new technology start-ups through Citadel Ventures, his venture investment fund. Singh's most recent ventures include Bunchball, Movoto, Kaboodle.
