Students develop engine operated by air

Bhilwara, May 3 (PTI) Claiming to have developed an engine operated by air pressure, a team of mechanical engineering students here are trying hard to improve their project to make it run two and four-wheeler vehicles.
Manish Gautam, Vishnu Sharma, Jitendra Kumar and Lavish Singh from the Mechanical engineering department of a government textile and engineering college here developed the project under the guidance of their lecturer Muzaffar Ali.
"This engine was developed on a concept different than the diesel engine and will not require any fuel to run as it runs on compressed air pressure," Ali said.
"Our vision is to make it competent enough to be fitted in two and four-wheelers. After our exams, we will constantly focus on the project," Manish Gautam, one of the four students said.
