Strong Tech hiring expected in 2011

Bangalore: Technology firms are generally optimistic about economic recovery and 86 percent of HR professionals that are planning to make hires in the next six months plan to do so within the technology field. Companies are beginning to increase spending to remain competitive or regain the lost competitive advantage and therefore hiring will occur in technology in 2011.
According to the latest '2010 IT Hire Intelligence Survey' by Technisource the vast majority of HR managers and recruiters responsible for recruiting technology staff are now planning to hire more IT workers. In addition, they also have a strong sense of confidence that their specific company's performance will continue to improve in the upcoming months.
Indeed, 86 percent of 435 recruiters responsible for hiring technology jobs are planning to hire technology talent in 2011. The majority 56 percent will be adding less than 10 employees with 37 percent hiring between 11 and 50 workers. Eight percent will be hiring 50 or more technology workers. The good news is nearly one-third of the hiring is for new positions, with more than 62 percent claiming they will be both replacement and new positions.
17 percent of the survey respondents cited that the skilled professional position most in demand is network administrator. The other chief skills cited by the CIOs were security (16percent) and software development (11 percent). All these together bring a relaxation for IT professionals all over the world.
