Sonata appoints Murali Swaminathan as Head - Human Resources

Bangalore: Sonata Software, an IT consulting and software services provider, has appointed Murali Swaminathan as Head - Human Resources. He will be involved in synchronizing the HR function with the company's operational and business requirements.
Swaminathan brings with him over 22 years of experience in HR domains such as people management, leadership development, performance and rewards, and consulting across a diverse range of industries including manufacturing, IT/ITES services and consulting. Prior to joining Sonata, he has served in several coaching and senior leadership assessments. He was also the Founder and CEO of a startup assessment company providing online assessment solutions. Swaminathan has also been involved in designing and implementation of several assessment and development centers. During the course of his career, he worked in different capacities with various IT as well as non-IT organizations including Perot Systems, 24/7 Customer, SPIC Group, Oberoi Hotels and Mercer.
Commenting on his appointment, President and Managing Director of Sonata Software, B Ramaswamy said, "We are delighted to have Murali as a part of our leadership team.
