Sleep- Deprived Indians Fail to Balance the Work and Personal Life

The study also reported that 29 percent of the employees globally, sleep less than the time they wish to sleep, to meet all their commitments in a day. When it comes to India, 22 percent people have compensated to a higher extreme when it comes to the time they have taken off to concentrate their personal matters.

Madhusudan Thakur also added that, the survey conducted by Regus also showed that, employers, if they allow their employees to work in such a place which is closer to their home along with a fully efficient environments, can lead to an essential impact on their family life and also provide employees with a few more minute’ kip every morning. These benefits are not only for the well-being of workers, instead the companies also can improve their productivity and maintenance by introducing the flexible working opportunities.

Though there are benefits with flexible working nature, which is a benefit for both the employee and the firm, there are still a lot of improvements that are to be done, as 40 percent of the Indian firms do not have the habit of recognizing or rewarding their managers to encourage the creation of flexible workforce, says Thakur.
