Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag and former English captain, Nasser Hussain are been regularly invited by SAP Labs to address its employees. Not only that, SAP Labs had also invited Sehwag last year for a charity dinner with him for its employees to raise over 5,00,000 for underprivileged children, reported the ‘This Week Bangalore’ website.

In 2011, SAP Lab had launched a three day sailing program to its 25 high performers which included managers as well as the potential managers with an objective to make them participate in a challenging and demanding sport which also requires high degree of group work and leadership.

Mukund Menon who is an athelete as well as the Managing Director of Steria India, has decided to lead a team of 35 top executives for a three day rafting offsite, which is considered to be a part of the company’s ‘Leadership Forum”, reports Bhanu Pande of the Economic Times. The main intention of Mukund is to bring back the team of 35 executives well prepared to handle strategic issues and targets for the company for the next year. Mukund broadly believes that sports have the capacity of creating an enabling environment for employees on any new programs in the future.
