Sanjay Dhawan joins Symphony Services as President & CEO

Bangalore: Symphony Services, a global company specializing in software product engineering outsourcing services, has appointed Sanjay Dhawan as President & CEO, effective immediately. Pallab Chatterjee, Symphony Services' current Chairman & CEO, will revert to his role as Chairman of the company's Board of Directors.
Dhawan steps into the role against the backdrop of impressive business results for Symphony Services. "The company's laser focus on Engineering Outcome Certainty and attracting and retaining the most skilled and experienced talent in the software engineering space,has translated into 10 percent quarter-over-quarter revenue growth, with 30 percent EBITDA growth," said a statement from the company.
The total contract value of new bookings are at 90 percent of the company's annual revenue run rate level in the June quarter, the statement said.
"Over the last year we have virtually transformed the company to ensure we commit to delivering on business outcomes for clients that span multiple technology and industry sectors and Sanjay's leadership will help us accelerate growth in the ISV, embedded and engineering services markets," said Pallab Chatterjee.
Prior to joining Symphony Services, Dhawan served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Aricent, where he was responsible for company strategy, sales, marketing and the management and oversight of several high-growth business units and various functional units. Prior to Aricent, Dhawan was the Chairman, CEO and co-founder of Inkra Networks. Dhawan also held chief strategy, development, sales and management roles at Netopia, StarNet and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). Dhawan holds a masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Brunel University, England, and a BS degree in Electronics and Communications from REC Kurukshetra, India.
