Mumbai: Technology firm Capgemini has appointed Rajesh Padmanabhan as the Head of Human Resources for its India operations. Rajesh has over has over 25 years of experience spanning the IT, hospitality, financial services and manufacturing industries. Prior to joining Capgemini, Rajesh was the Executive Vice President (EVP) and Global Head of HR for Patni Computer Services. Rajesh, who hold MBA degrees in HR and Finance from the University of Mumbai, also worked with the Oberoi Group as EVP for Group HR, Essel Propack as Global Director - Human Capital and with 3i Infotech as Vice President - HR "India is a significant country for Capgemini's global growth plans. With over 28,000 employees based here, we are already the largest employee base for the Capgemini Group. As we continue to scale up, Rajesh's rich people management experience will p rove to be a valuable asset," said Salil Parekh, India Executive Chairman, Capegemini.
