Making a business case out of the promotion?

The data collected from companies and industries can be used as a backing to bolster your increment case. One should keep in mind that the promotion could have been just a sign of recognition to your hard work. It is probably just a reward for your contribution.  But if your business heads agree to the variations you are looking for, they might consider them in specific.

Are you harboring big expectations?

Your needs and career should be connected. Giving up your personal desires to pursue a promotion will not help. The changes taking place in the responsibilities and relationships may come into play. You realize that your promotion doesn’t bring any change and you are busier than ever.

 If your promotion increases your stress instead of lessening it, you should talk it out with your business head to relieve you of the burden.
