Praxis Business School Foundation Announces the Launch of Praxis Digital Literacy Program

Praxis Business School Foundation, one of the premier business schools in Kolkata and Bangalore announces the launch of Praxis Digital Literacy Program on its Foundation Day of the Institute on July 30th 2019. It was Prof. Charanpreet Singh, the Founder and Director of the Institution who announced the launch of the Program.

Commenting on the launch, Professor Charanpreet Singh, states, “Praxis works at the confluence of business, technology and education. It is therefore logical that we should contribute toward enhancing the Digital Literacy of the nation. We have decided to invest money, time and intellect into creating this whole program of driving Digital Literacy”.

Bringing out the struggles, Praxis was keen to mention the three ‘R’s’ of literacy in the traditional world and the Digital Literacy Drive program is well aware of its important and relevant. The Digital Literacy Drive Program will be driven by the student community from design to delivery with active student participation. However, the students have already met the school principals of Rasapunja P K High School and Samali Bholanath High School to conduct two days of workshops at the neighborhood where they’ll teach the students about the use of computers and the internet.

Prof. Charanpreet also appealed for donations in terms of time, old computers and other gadgets and he believes that contributions can help the Digital Literacy Program to build an efficient and strong skilled workforce in the country. Supporting this contributions, Prof. Singh comments, “We will do more of this and we are in touch with national professional bodies in order to leverage their reach to deliver these programs”.
