People Who Earned Millions After Quitting Their Jobs

3. Terry Finley, West Point Thoroughbreds:  In 1990, when Terry Finley was finishing his military service, he and his wife Debbie, bought a $5,000 horse.  Finley became enthusiastic and quit his insurance job, when his horse, named Sunbelt, won its first race. He wanted to take a chance on his passion, and started West Point Thoroughbreds with his wife, armed with his personal savings. Now the Company, “West Point Thoroughbreds” buys 20 to 25 horses a year, so that groups of investors can make profit when the horses win, breed and sell. They proved to be quite lucky in their business as from 2007, the company’s horses have won more than 20 percent of their races, and have profited the company with more than $16 millions earning.
