Monster India initiated the Monster Employment Index, a detailed and highly accurate monthly analysis of the online job demand in India. The feature was launched in May 2010 with the data collected since October 2009. The employment index displays an overview of the online recruitment process across the country. The data is retrieved from a plethora of online career platforms including Monster India, and the reports are based on a real-time analysis of enormous job opportunities posted by employers. The Research America, Inc. validates the data for accuracy, ensuring that the reports based on the online job recruitment process meets a +/- 1.05% margin of error.
“When we look at the cities monitored in the index, Bengaluru continues to lead in moderate pace with a 63 per cent increase. One of the contributing factors could be the increasing number of startups in the city,” adds Modi.
