Nihilent Wins Institute Of Economic Studies' Excellence Award

BANGALORE: Nihilent Technologies, a Pune based global consulting and solutions integration Company has won the Excellence Award from the Institute of Economic Studies, during the seminar on India’s Current Economic Scenario held at New Delhi.  On the occasion, Mr. LC Singh, Vice Chairman and CEO of Nihilent won the Udyog Rattan Award, in recognition for his contribution to Indian IT.

The seminar was well attended by entrepreneurs and leaders from both the private and public sectors, and across industries.  The event was presided over by leading luminaries from the Indian legislature and executive and public sector entities, including Mr. Vishnu Dev Sahay, Minister of State for Steel and Mines, Mr. Bhishm Narain Singh, former Governor of Tamil Nadu and Assam, Mr. Joginder Singh, former director of CBI, and Mr. Ravikanth, Chairman and Managing Director, Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO).  The guests of honour spoke at length about the current state of Indian economy, and how the country is poised to become a world power by the end of this decade, especially with the push for Digital India and financial inclusion by the government.

While handing over the awards, IES mentioned that Mr. Singh, known as LC, is a pioneer in IT has contributed to the development of Indian IT industry worldwide. They added that the major contributions of Mr. LC Singh and Nihilent includes the conceptualization and creation of his patented learning and innovation framework, MC3 and 14Signals (Customer Loyalty Evaluation) framework.

The other winners of the Excellence Award and Udyog Rattan Award include Mr. K.S. Popli, Chairman & Managing Director, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA), Mr. Umesh Revankar, Managing Director, Shriram Transport Finance Company Ltd., Mr. V.P. Rustagi, CEO, Overseas Infrastructure Alliance Pvt. Ltd, among others.
