Mumbai: KG Subramanian has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Nexus Venture Partners, a venture capital firm. Subramanian will be based in Mumbai. Naren Gupta, Co-founder, Nexus Venture Partners said on the appointment, "KGS will help drive world-class corporate governance and financial reporting standards within Nexus and partner companies. We are delighted to have KGS join the Nexus family." Subramanian was previously associated with Kotak Mahindra Investments in the capacity of Senior Vice President- Finance and Operations. He was also the Chief Compliance Officer there and a member of various management committees like the Asset Liability Committee, Risk Management Committee and Operating Committee. His 14 year stint with the Kotak Group saw him play many pivotal roles in the company in the fields of accounting, treasury and other finance functions. Subramanian has worked with Ashok Leyland Finance as well.
