Newton School Introduces All Women Tech Program to Encourage Women to Restart their Career

Ed-tech startup Newton School, has introduced an all women tech program. with an intension to support women to use their potential by re-entering the workforce that is equipped with industry oriented skills. The course is set to begin in mid of January and would not just be helpful for women to rejoin after their maternity leave but also aid in switching their domains and move to tech industry.

Newton School is an online edtech platform that educates people to be highly skilled software developers and get them placed in top companies as frontend, backend and full stack software developers amongst other roles. The new online program, is designed to have four months of training and expects its students to dedicate three to four hours per day for five days a week. The course is reverse engineered towards industry requirements and will be led by dynamic women who have extensive industry experience.

The first batch would have a strength of 100 students. The course is expected to run multiple batches in the coming months and will follow the Pay after Placement model just like other courses being offered by the startup. This will allow women to learn industry skills without any financial burden. The company has prioritised the development of products utilising Artificial Intelligence (AI) to streamline and personalise the learning journey of each student. Apart from this, the startup has quintupled its student intake and has helped many get jobs in the last year. At present, the platform has more than 700 students enrolled.
