The MVJ College of Engineering, a premier Engineering College in the country, since its establishment in 1982, has been carrying forward the legacy of Dr M V Jayaraman. The MVJCE is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Government of Karnataka. The 15-acre lush green campus, strategically located in Whitefield, with an impressive built-up area of over 3.5 lakh sq ft, extends career building opportunities for about 3000 students every year in as many as 12 traditional and emerging disciplines in Engineering and four Post Graduate programmes. Highly qualified and well-experienced faculties mould and mentor the students for prospective careers. This year six of our students have bagged ranks including the FIRST RANK in Medical Electronics. As part co-curricular and extra curricular activities we conduct national and intercollegiate level seminars and workshops; encourage students to participate in technical paper presentation contests; organize lectures by experts from leading industries, conduct University sports meets etc. MVJ Memorial Cricket Tournament and Rajalakshmi Jayaraman Intercollegiate Volleyball Tournament, annual features organized by our college, are most prestigious tournaments in the intercollegiate circuits.
