MTech Course in IT to be Introduced by IIIT-B
Bangalore: International Institute of Information Technology-Bangalore [IIIT-B] has come up with the five year MTech integrated course for the students who have passed II PUC or class 12. This course will be including subjects like Biology, Management, Social Sciences, Humanities etc as part of its curriculum and it will get start from this academic year, reports The Times of India.
The most important factor is that the candidate should have studied Mathematics up to the class 12 to become eligible for this course. These five year programs will also offer you a dual degree like the BTech and an MTech in IT and the core subjects will be IT and the fifth year will be entirely focused on research.
Sadagopan S, Director, IIITB, has also explained the reason for introducing such a broad program. He has said that students who are entitled to study this course will be eligible to work in any sectors of their choice, as they get to know the basics of the wide variety of fields from these programs. He also told that the sports and yoga courses have been introduced to help the IT professionals to avoid a deskbound life in the future and it also help them to lead a disciplined and healthy lifestyle in the future.
