Bangalore: In a study conducted by Erich Dierdorff, Assistant Professor on Management at DePaul University, has found that, people who are into a job where they are suppose to interact with many people, are the one who experience a lot of stress when trying to manage their office work and family at the same time. He has also told that, high levels of interaction at work may lead to increased fatigue and depletion of personal resources that is needed to fulfill family role obligations, reports The Times of India.
A job can only seem stressful when there is time pressure for completing the assigned work, long working hours, increased work load but less support from the colleagues etc. These work pressure can create health problems and you will find less time to mingle with your family.
According to a Job Stress Report conducted by the CareerCast.com, had conducted a survey on over 200 different professions to measure the work environment, job competitiveness and risk. So, according to that report, Alison Doyle, the Guide at About.com has listed the top 5 most stressful jobs that can affect an employee’s job satisfaction.
Solider:
Serving as a soldier is a dream for most of you. Being a soldier carries’ a very unique feeling of satisfaction, as you are entitled to serve your mother earth. But serving as a soldier is most dangerous and stressful because you would have put your life into threat. A solider shared his opinion on the CareerCast website and has explained that, being in the military it was physically and mentally challenging to him and it was also stressful particularly when a he or any other was in the battlefield. But he has also told that there are certain benefits if you become a soldier as you can have a stable pay check and health care benefits and also you can get 30 days of paid leave in a year to fight the stress.
