4. IIM Indore:

In spite of several controversies and un-eventful things that happened in Indian Institute of Management Indore campus, the B-school managed to attract 138 recruiters during final placements 2012, which is significantly higher to the last year when it recorded 100 recruiters. A total number of 425 students attended placements, which is the highest among all the IIMs.

Tata Consultancy Service, Mindtree Consulting, Deloitee, Bharat Petroleum and Cognizant Business Consulting recruited extensively during the placements. The average annual salary offered for the grads from IIM Indore was around 13, 30,000.

5. IIM Lucknow:

Indian Institute of Management Lucknow has witnessed a record number of companies turn up for placement this year. A total of 213 recruiters visited the campus, which is the highest among all the IIMs and it seems it won’t be too long before IIM Lucknow enters the big league in terms of recruitments in India. Companies like Cognizant, IBM, Infosys, Bharti Airtel, Boston Consulting Group, Larsen & Toubro, Procter & Gamble, Deloitte Consulting, HCL Infosystems, Maruthi Suziki, Myntra and Aircel were the major recruiters.
